“Waraq” by Siber Koza
Welcome to "Waraq” by Siber Koza, a series documenting the thoughts, activities, and reflections of Siber Koza. The conjugated term "waraq" comes from the Arabic word “waraqah” meaning "paper". Waraq contributes to the unfolding narrative capturing a unique moment in time, providing insights into the journey and mindset of Siber Koza. Join us as we turn our First "Waraq" to explore triumphs in the life of Siber Koza over the past two months!
At Siber Koza, we’ve set out to be a beacon for real innovation, nurturing talent, and most importantly, guiding young minds in this ever-expanding technological landscape.
With unwavering dedication, we launched three comprehensive programs: incubation, internship, and summer camp, each meticulously designed to develop skills in advanced technologies such as AI, ML, DL, Cybersecurity, and Data Sciences.
1.Our summer camp debut was nothing short of spectacular! We were overwhelmed by the potential and enthusiasm of young minds, eager to dive into hands-on experiences. It was heartening to see them gain a clearer understanding of their career paths and the opportunities that lie ahead.
2.In collaboration with the prestigious R&D divisions of NASTP and our esteemed Turkish partner CRYPTTECH, we introduced a unique internship program. Over 30 interns mostly sophomores from various universities, including those from outside the twin cities, are currently engaged in five projects, developing critical skills over a rigorous 6-to-8-week period.
3.Our preincubation process has borne fruit, resulting in three startups joining us after a rigorous selection process. We are excited to welcome Malaika Zia and Muhammad Ajmal Malik from Eleven, and Ehtisham, Hasnain and Hasham from Dassoft to our growing family. It's inspiring to see how these startups have built their teams with the right skills and how dedicated they are to transforming young individuals who have joined them. Over 12 interns, from institutions such as (FAST) NU, NUST, AU Islamabad & Kamra, Bahria, and NUML, have been hired across various technical and non-technical domains. These startups are set to embark on an exciting journey, and we’re thrilled to support their innovative ventures.
